Only moments after both the Sony Xperia P and Xperia U were announced, the official product page for both products has gone live on the Sony Mobile website.
The Xperia U features a 3.5″ Reality display with a 1GHz dual core processor and 5 megapixel camera. The transparent bar illuminates different colors based on what music your listening to, or what photos you’re looking at. It will change color to match your media and Sony dubbed it a “magically smartphone”.
The Xperia P features the same design as the Xperia U and S and is the “middle child” between between the Xperia U and Xperia S in both display and camera. The Xperia P will feature a 4″ display and an 8 megapixel camera. The Xperia P will feature NFC technology making it compatible with the Sony Xperia Smart Tags and will be the first phone to feature Sony White Magic Display which gives excellent viewing in sunlight, making it the smartest and brightest smartphone on the market.
Both the Xperia P and Xperia U will launch in the middle of Q2, so we should see a release in May.
