Sony’s next generation tablet and the first of the Sony Xperia branded tablets went on sale in the UK and the US this week after only being announced the previous week. The Sony Xperia Tablet S was also expected to go on sale in Canada at the same time but, there appears to have been a slight delay in getting the tablets sent out for Canadians.
Instead, Sony will begin shipping their 9.4 inch tablet starting from Monday September 10th and consumers should start receiving their tablet delivery shortly after this. To recap, the Sony Xperia Tablet S features a 9.4 inch display, 1GB of RAM, Android Ice Cream Sandwich, 1.3GHz quad core Tegra 3 processor and the choice of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal memory. The 64GB however appears to be limited to the US only for now.
