Online retailer Play.com are taking pre-orders on the upcoming Sony Ericsson smartphone – the Xperia Ray with it’s 3.3 inch reality display and Android 2.3 OS.
Priced at £349.99 including delivery, the Xperia Ray is quoted as being available for release on August 15th. The model on pre-order is the black Xperia Ray handset. There is no mention on the site of a pre-order for the other colours of Ray handset available.
We’ve already had news of a pre-order for the Xperia Ray from the Carphone Warehouse. They initially stated an August release too however, as we reported, the date on the CPW website has been changed to September now so time will tell if the same happens with the Play.com release date too.
