The Sony Ericsson Play has not even been on sale six months, yet it has received a significant price drop. On launch the “PlayStation phone” was more than £500 in the UK when it launched in April. Now the handset is almost half of this.
The handset is available for as little as £289 from Expansys, while Play have reduced the price of the phone to £299. Amazon have the handset priced slightly higher but, still retains a significant price drop over the original selling price.
