Four Xperia smartphones are already scheduled for release this year. We have already done extensive coverage on the first two which are the Xperia Arc and the Xperia Play, what about the remaining two models?
The good news is that we already have an expected release date for the Xperia Neo which falls on April 1. The Xperia Pro on the other hand will be release 2 months after, on June 1. Thos of you excited to get your hands on the Xperia Pro will have to wait a little bit longer.
The Xperia Neo (previously called Halon) will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread straight out of the box. It sorts a 1 GHZ Snapdragon processor with an Adreno 205 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. The device is capable of recording 720p videos using its 8 MP camera.
The Xperia Pro will feature a slider QWERTY keyboard and also run on the latest Android 2.3 gingerbread. It is designed for people who communicate a lot through text messaging or emails since it can easily be done with the keyboard. It also comes with a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor and features a Reality Display touchscreen.
