It seems that the Xperia line is getting a lot of news lately. First, new models were announced to be released early next year. Now, photos of the Xperia Hallon (MT15i/MT15a) are being leaked all over the web. Here are some photos of the phone.
Based on the leaked photos the unit does not have any keyboard so this definitely isn’t the PSP Phone. The unusually large front facing camera may suggest that it can make high definition video calls. The only Android version that will support video calls is the Android 2.3 Gingerbread so hopefully when this unit is available to the public it would be running on the Gingerbread OS.
The large screen size of the Hallon makes it a perfect choice to run all your favorite Android applications. It’s safe to say that the screen size might be around 3.5 inches. Aside from this, nothing much can be said as of now regarding the specifications of the phone.
Sony Ericsson will most probably officially unveil this unit at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this January 6 at Las Vegas. The CES is one of the biggest events where manufacturers have a chance to show off their latest products.
