Xperia Arc Arrives at FCC, to be carried by AT&T

The Xperia Arc recently made its way over at the FCC which can only mean that it is ready to be released in the US. Reports indicate that the model was granted approval for WCDMA bands I, II, III, IV as well as quad band GSM. The approved bands make it suitable for use under the AT&T network that runs on GSM and 3G or it can also be used under T-Mobile without 3G support.

Since AT&T lost its exclusivity of the iPhone the network has been slowly building up its lineup of high end Android smartphone devices. The Xperia Arc will make a great addition to their Android lineup which already includes Motorola Atrix 4G, HTC Inspire 4G and soon the Samsung Infuse 4G.

The Xperia Arc will be the latest flagship model of Sony Ericsson when it will be released. It comes with several powerful features such as a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 8.1 MP camera and a 4.2 inch Reality Display screen.

AT&T has not listed a release date nor has it placed the pricing details yet on its website. A lot of people believe that the Xperia Arc will be released by April and will come with a price tag of $750 unlocked.
