Yesterday was slightly disappointing. We heard that the Carphone Warehouse would be releasing the Sony Xperia T and Sony Xperia J but, neither handset was released by the UK retailer and the Xperia T release was suggested to have been pushed back to the end of September. Fortunately another UK retailer has come to the rescue.
Phones 4 U very briefly had the Sony Xperia T up for pre-order with a release date of September 26th but, Sony’s next flagship Android smartphone has gone on sale already through the retailer. Currently the Sony Xperia T is available through Orange or O2 on a 24 month mobile contract starting at £28.50 a month with Orange or £36 on O2. The Orange Panther 36 contract is actually also supposed to be £36 a month but, there is a £7.50 monthly discount on it. For your money as well as picking up the Xperia T for free, you will get 600 minutes and 3000 texts with Orange, as well as 1GB of data, while O2 offers unlimited minutes and texts, with 1GB of Data.
The first 250 orders through the Phones 4 U website for the Xperia T will receive a Sony Smartwatch which retails for £99.
