In a few hours the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 will begin in Barcelona, Spain. This huge yearly event will be a gathering of the major mobile manufacturers and providers making their presence felt with their latest offerings. This four day event has an average of 50,000 people attending it making it an ideal venue for mobile manufacturers to present their latest devices. Here’s a list of the rumored devices we have gathered so far that would be making an impression.
Sony Ericsson
Two Android smartphones will highlight the Sony Ericsson booth during the MWC. The Xperia Play and Xperia Neo will be making an appearance which should give the company a solid lineup this year in the Android scene.
Samsung
Samsung is rumored to unveil the Samsung Galaxy S II and the Samsung Galaxy Tab II during this event. Both devices will sport a dual core processor which we will soon see on lots of devices this year.
LG
LG will announce the LG Optimus 3D, the world’s first 3D smartphone, as well as the LG Optimus Pad.
Nokia
With the company’s recent announcement of their shift to WP7 over Symbian, a concept WP7 might be shown during the event.
HTC
The HTC Desire 2 is expected to be announced during this event.
