O2 of UK will be the first mobile network to confirm that it will carry the Xperia Arc with its recent announcement in its website. Although nothing detailed has materialized yet the latest Android smartphone from Sony Ericsson has its own teaser page on the network’s website. The only information available is that the Arc will be coming to the network in April. There are also a couple of photos of the Arc as well as a brief description of its features on O2’s website.
Being the first to confirm the Xperia Arc is a good strategic marketing move of O2. This would attract people who are excited about this upcoming smartphone to buy it on O2.
The Xperia Arc which was first officially unveiled to the public at the Computer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 will be Sony Ericsson’s latest flagship model. It packs some powerful hardware features as well as running Android 2.3 which combine to provide you with a faster and more intuitive overall experience.
The Xperia line will see many new models joining it this year as Sony Ericsson plans to get bigger share of the Android smartphone market.
