While we’ve been posting as quickly as possible which regions the Android 2.1 update has been posted to, some users in those countries with unbranded handsets still haven’t been able to update. Sony Ericsson have provided a list of all the kit numbers that have been released for the X10, X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro. So if you’re handset has one of the numbers below, the update should be available to you.
It has however been noted that for some users, PC Companion will inform them that they already have the latest firmware on their phone when this isn’t the case. If this happens, repairing your handset (after backing up your data of course), should install Android 2.1 on to your Xperia X10, X10 Mini, or X10 Mini pro mobile phone.
