Yesterday we reported that in a rather strange turn of events considering O2’s past, they were first to release the latest update for the Xperia Arc and Xperia Play in the UK. Today however, the update has been released for unbranded handsets in the UK for the Xperia Arc and Xperia Play.
The update doesn’t appear to be showing through over the air updates but, when connecting via the Sony Ericsson Update Service, an update is detected. The update brings the Arc and Play to version 2.3.3 of Android, as well as bringing Facebook Inside Xperia on board.
