We’ve seen a few deals pop up for Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Ray which was recently released in the UK. The majority of the mobile phone contract deals involved a 24 month contract commitment, taking the total price well over the £300 that the Xperia Ray is available for sim free. UK network operator Talk Mobile however, have a very interesting offer available.

Talk Mobile are offering the handset for free on a £25 a month contract and the commitment is only 12 months. This will make the total cost over the year only £300, the same as getting a sim free Xperia Ray, which essentially makes the contract free. Instead of paying £300 upfront, you could spread the cost over 12 months and get 300 minutes, 1GB of mobile data and 1000 texts.
