We heard that Sony Ericsson could be planning to unveil their gaming Xperia phone during Sunday’s Super Bowl and this rumor has turned out to be correct. One of the adverts shown during the Super Bowl was a commercial for the much leaked Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. Only at the end of the advert do we see that it is indeed the Xperia Play that we’ve previously seen.

The commercial was leaked prior to this, however Sony Ericsson have now uploaded the advert to their YouTube account. An official debut is still expected at MWC however, based on the count down timer seen on the Sony Ericsson Facebook page.
