A short update on one of our previous posts regarding a low priced deal for the Sony Ericsson Liveview on Play.com. The retailer has dropped the price of Liveview even further but, for one day only this time round.

On the Play ‘deal of the day’ promotion, the Sony Ericsson Liveview accessory is reduced down to an even cheaper £12.99 with free delivery! At £15 the deal was cheap as chips but, at £12.99 it seems irresistible to anyone who has ever considered buying Liveview as an add-on for their phone.

Admittedly, the new Sony Watch which is essentially a next generation Liveview isn’t far off from launching but, seeing the Sony Ericsson Liveview bluetooth display down to just £15 couldn’t be ignored.

We’ve seen the price of the Liveview drop to £18 before through Play.com but, it only stayed at the low price for a couple of days before returning to £30, while other retailers still had the Sony Ericsson Liveview priced at £40-£45. The £15 deal for the Liveview is again available through Play and like last time, it may not last very long so you’ll need to be quick to nab one at this price.

We recently received the Multimedia Dock DK300 from MobileFun.co.uk which is made specifically for the Xperia Play. MobileFun sell a range of accessories for the Xperia Play, including cases, memory cards and an Xperia Play Screen Protector.

The Multimedia Dock allows you to dock your Xperia Play turning it into a “multifunction alarm clock”. You can see the time, date and weather at a glance, as well as play a slideshow of your photos on the phone. When docked and plugged in, the DK300 keeps your Xperia Play charged and you can either use the charger that came with your phone, or the one provided in the box.

The X10 Mini Pro however didn’t have as many cases on the market and still hasn’t.
