Coming soon to Russian stores is the ‘hold it in one hand, all round entertainment’ smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8.

It has been announced that the latest addition to the Xperia range will be released in Russia this October and is due to cost around $320 (9940 Russian Rubles). Although the handset should ship with Android 1.6, it is hoped that the Android 2.1 update will arrive for the Xperia X8 before October, the update is supposed to be due sometime this month for the Xperia X10.
