In a few hours the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 will begin in Barcelona, Spain. This huge yearly event will be a gathering of the major mobile manufacturers and providers making their presence felt with their latest offerings. This four day event has an average of 50,000 people attending it making it an ideal venue for mobile manufacturers to present their latest devices. Sony Ericsson’s latest Android smartphone the Xperia Play, which is also the world’s first Android smartphone designed for gaming, might be getting competition soon from HTC. As previously reported, the Xperia Play will be able to run PlayStation One games and will make use of a platform called the PlayStation Suite.
