The Sony Xperia P has finally arrived in the United States, where it was spotted this week at a stopover at the FCC. According to a released filing, the handset comes with GPS, Wifi, and NFC. It further offers HSPA and GSM support. Other already-revealed features include a 4 inch display, 16 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM, 2 cameras, and a 16 Hz dual core processor. The device runs Android’s Gingerbread 2.3.7.

Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Active is due to be released in the UK at the end of the month and it shouldn’t be too long until the handset is available in North America as well. The Xperia Active has made it’s way on to the FCC site complete with photos of the handset. The documents include external photos of the handset, as well as internal pictures of the Xperia Active. The Xperia Arc recently made its way over at the FCC which can only mean that it is ready to be released in the US. Reports indicate that the model was granted approval for WCDMA bands I, II, III, IV as well as quad band GSM. The approved bands make it suitable for use under the AT&T network that runs on GSM and 3G or it can also be used under T-Mobile without 3G support.
