Just over a month ago, Android 2.3.4 began rolling out to Xperia phones in Nordic countries but, Sony Ericsson have now confirmed that the update is rolling out for the rest of the world.

Android 2.3.4 will be available for the Xperia Arc, Play, Neo, Ray, Mini, Mini Pro, Active, Pro, Neo V and Arc S as well as the non Xperia Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman.

Reports have been coming in that the Android 2.3.3 update has just made it’s way to Verizon branded Sony Ericsson Xperia Plays. The update brings more compatibility with apps in the Android Market as well as a few bug fixes. Curiously, the inclusion of Facebook inside Xperia, which was brought in with the 2.3.3 update is missing.

Yesterday we reported that in a rather strange turn of events considering O2′s past, they were first to release the latest update for the Xperia Arc and Xperia Play in the UK. Today however, the update has been released for unbranded handsets in the UK for the Xperia Arc and Xperia Play.

The update doesn’t appear to be showing through over the air updates but, when connecting via the Sony Ericsson Update Service, an update is detected. The update brings the Arc and Play to version 2.3.3 of Android, as well as bringing Facebook Inside Xperia on board.

Sony Ericsson’s update for the 2011 range of handsets began rolling out yesterday which saw the Android version being upgraded to Android 2.3.3 as well as the inclusion of Facebook Inside Xperia which was recently announced by Sony Ericsson which gives you a deeper integration between Facebook and your phone.
