TeleNav, One of the leading Android providers for GPS navigation, has just updated their TeleNav GPS Navigator application to version 6.2. One of the first models to get this update is the Xperia X10, Motorola Backflip, Samsung Captivate and HTC Aria on the AT&T network and will soon be available to other Android mobile phones.
The update introduced many changes to the application making it more user friendly and intuitive.

Following on from the release of the full version of Angry Birds, Rovio have followed the release up with an update for the game. While the beta version of Angry Birds worked fine on the Xperia X10, the full version did not work at all on the Xperia X10, if you had 1.6 any way. Since updating the Xperia X10 to Android 2.1, Angry Birds has worked fine for myself and others. However the X10 Mini and Mini Pro were left out of the Angry Birds camp, as the game did not support QVGA devices.

With Google Android 2.1 finally released on Sony Ericsson’s line of Xperia handsets, albeit not everywhere yet, it should be safe for the company to now release a device that requires Android 2.x to run. While not released yet, the LiveView app for the Sony Ericsson LiveView Mini Remote has appeared on the market place.

After weeks of the Angry Birds Beta being out, Rovio have finally released the final version. The game was released on mobile downloads website GetJar by Rovio exclusively, before hitting the Android Market. During this time, GetJar have apparently accumulated around 7 million downloads on the game, which has caused disruption for the site, with many users getting “disconnected” issues and at one point the GetJar servers crashed.
