Sony Ericsson Xperia X12: It’s Coming Sooner than You Think

The next flagship model of Sony Ericsson will be the Xperia X12. As early as now there have been previews released on what this phone’ specifications are. From what was leaked here are some of the most probably specs.
Processor: Qualcomm MSM7230 Scorpion 800MHz
OS: Android 2.2 Froyo
Display: 4.3 – inch AMOLED capable of 854 x 480 resolution
Camera: 12 MP

The Xperia X12 also called the Anzu will be released to by the first quarter of 2011. Design wise it is thinner and lighter compared to the X10. Although the processor seems to have a lower power compared to its predecessor, it still operates smoothly. The exterior case is made of high quality plastic, the same materials we are used to seeing from the Sony Ericsson line.

In the multimedia department, it can smoothly capture and playback HD videos of 720p. This is due to the hardware enhancement done and not just a software solution as is the case for the X10.

Based on the initial specs that we have we can definitely say that the X12 is a worthy successor to the X10. Its presence in the market early next year will add excitement to the smartphone industry.
