Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro now shipping in the UK

After months of delays, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro has finally been released in the UK. Online retailer Clove received stock of the Xperia Pro a day later than previously expected but, orders have begun to be dispatched today and will continue on Monday.

The price for the Xperia Pro was changed from £322 down to £306, which is cheaper than the Xperia Neo. However Clove have said they have run out of stock already but, are expecting more in on Monday. If you want to get your hands on the Xperia Pro, they’re advising customers to order as soon as possible as, by the time the new stock arrives on Monday they may already be sold out again.

As of yet, none of the UK networks have confirmed that the handset will be available on their networks so at the moment, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro is only available sim free. Hopefully the networks will pick up the phone soon as even on it’s first day in the UK, it’s proved to be a popular handset and our poll reveals that the Pro is the most favourable 2011 Xperia model, despite it not previously being on sale.

About time too.  Those of us waiting for months and believing false promises are rapidly losing patience and are perhaps entitled to a free phone as a reward for their loyalty.
