2.3.4 rolling out to Xperia Arc, Neo and Play already

It seems Sony Ericsson have gone better this time with the next update for their Xperia handsets. The Android 2.3.4 update was due in October but, reports are coming in that the update is already rolling out. Initially the update was available on the Xperia Neo but, is now available on the Xperia Arc and Xperia Play.

The update has been pushed to those with Nordic and Global firmware and should be released to other regions in due course. There’s nothing here in the UK for unbranded handsets yet but, we’ll keep you updated on the regions the update becomes available in.

    are branding uk able to recieve the update at the moment?

      No at the moment no but, the UK should receive it soon and networks should release it to branded handsets around the same time. At least that’s been the case so far with the updates any way for this years models :) .

    the update is out for UK unbranded handsets. Well the Arc anyway. I know as I update mines a couple of hours ago via PC Companion.

    no update as of yet for the netherlands.. experia arc  not the august one or the october one
